Although, I personally prefer the coastal retreats from the bustling cities, Mexico City’s rich history and lively atmosphere are a must-see on any globetrotter’s bucket list. If you are a beach lover like me then you will love the Cancun and Riviera Maya. Located along the Yucatan Peninsula, these paradise destinations are renowned for their turquoise waters and white sandy beaches. For the adventurer, you can dive into the Great Maya Reef or you can bum with a margarita in the sun.
If you are a fan of history visiting Chichen Itza and Tulum is a must! Chichen Itza is a UNESCO World Heritage Site (one of the new 7 Wonders of the World). The Tulum’s ruins sit atop the cliffs overlooking the Caribbean which is breathtaking.
